Registration:
Step 1: E-mail us today to be placed on our list of potential
participants.
Step 2: We will notify you with the course number and registration information when it becomes available.
Cost:
MCC $150 at the time of registration, Aurora University $300 (1st day of the class)
Expectations:
*Farm Bureau provides an Air Conditioned Motorcoach for our three days
*Farm Bureau provides all lunches, snacks, and morning coffee and rolls.
*Experience five full days 8 to 4 (Early departure for our Chicago leg of trip)
*Expect to meet and hear farmers, specialists, and businessmen reveal their side
of agriculture. In addition, our travel days allow us to see these people at their
jobs ranging from touring a beef feedlot to walking the floor of the Board of Trade!)
Staff:
*Sally Thomas, our Aurora instructor, will handle and grade the required
assignments. She will be assisted by Mary McGuire from Cary School District. In short, you will keep a "log" of your travels, summarize a few short magazine articles and develop a project to deliver in your classroom.
*Larry Reinhard, Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Coordinator and staff specialists will deliver the daily class experiences.
What grade levels are served? In past years we have served teachers from K-14.
